Better then I anticipated

So going to do quick bullet points. Pros 1. Quality feels good 2. Great variety of games, and with basic computer knowledge you could add more 3. Speakers sound great 4. Screen is nice and bright 5. Very responsive Cons 1. The booklet has wrong shortcut buttons. You need to use the FN button instead of the select button for the shortcuts 2. Some PsP games lag slightly but not to bad. 3. Will not charge with a C to C cable. C to A works fine just not C to C.Overall my opinion is it is great for the money.

Ultimate
Advertisement says R40s and actually a R36s

I got really angry with just knowing that the model is not the one they advertise, The device is pretty good it's just angers me that it's endorse as a R40s when is a R36s model looks amazing but just don't want it after knowing that is the same old one I used have in red, I was hoping for an little upgrade . Please understand that I'm not talking that that advice is bad it's just they should really fix their advertisement and description because very misleading for what it is.

Better than I expected

I own over 60 of these retro gaming systems and have become quite adept at discerning the good ones from the bad ones. After several days of playing around with the R40S Pro, I can say this is a very good retro gaming handheld. For starters, the 256 GB card did arrive packed full of games. In fact, it was already installed in the microSD slot, and when powered on, everything was instantly ready to go. I did have to tweak some settings in RetroArch to get various arcade titles to display in their proper aspect ratio. Aside from that, most everything ran quite smoothly. If you're not familiar with how to tweak settings in RetroArch, you'll probably need to learn that skill with this console. While most emulators are ready to go right out of the box, some will require fine-tuning to get absolute pixel perfection.Overall, the screen is crisp, and the controllers are responsive. I cannot find any major gripes about the R40S when it comes to actual gameplay. There were numerous bad reviews written on this system, but my experience with it has been largely positive. As an avid retro gamer, I wouldn't recommend a bad system to anyone. However, this is a very well-made device which I am happy to recommend. The only caveat is that some of the default RetroArch settings may need to be changed if you're a perfectionist.
